STAFF
PASTOR + WORSHIP LEADER

Pastor Landon and his wife, Casey Ruckel (CC's Worship Leader), have faithfully served and led at Celebration Church for nearly five years. With hearts rooted in faith, family, and community, they are passionate about seeing lives transformed by the love and power of Jesus Christ. Together, Landon and Casey bring years of ministry experience, having served in various leadership roles before stepping into lead pastorship. They are committed to building a church that is welcoming, Spirit-led, and grounded in biblical truth. As the parents of five children, the Ruckels understand the joys and challenges of family life and value creating a church culture where families can grow together in faith. Beyond the walls of the church, they are actively involved in the local community and strongly believe in serving and loving people right where they are. Their vision for Celebration Church is to see people encounter God, discover their purpose, and walk in the fullness of what He has called them to be.
YOUTH LEADERS

Joshua and Nathalie Brandt have a heart for helping teens grow in their relationship with God as they discover who He has created them to be. As Youth Leaders, their goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where middle and high school students can have fun while building meaningful friendships, studying the Bible, and learning what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ. Joshua and Nathalie both attended Celebration Leadership College in Jacksonville, Florida, where they developed a strong foundation in biblical studies and gained hands-on experience in church leadership. They spent many years serving God together through assisting in church planting. As their family grew, they felt led through much prayer to put down roots in Danville, Kentucky, where they have joyfully integrated into the community over the past seven years. When they’re not at church, you’ll likely find Joshua and Nathalie enjoying time with their five children, playing board games with friends, or making memories at Disney World.
CO-CHILDREN'S DIRECTOR

Hannah Ruckel is grateful and excited to serve as the Co-Director of Children’s Ministry at Celebration Church. She’s been married to her husband for nearly 20 years, and together they are raising five wonderful children who keep their home full of laughter. She spent the past 13 years working in early childhood education, and feels God has strongly used that journey to shape her heart for ministry with children.
CO-CHILDREN'S DIRECTOR

Allissa Oakes has been involved in children’s ministry since she was a teenager. She has a passion for helping kids get excited about learning who Jesus is in fun, engaging, and meaningful ways. On Sundays, Allissa teaches Children’s Church on a rotation with her awesome team and loves serving alongside others who share her heart for kids. During the week, she works as an elementary school teacher, combining her love for teaching with her calling to serve children. Outside of church and school, Allissa enjoys being outdoors, reading, and spending time with her husband, Fletcher, and their dogs.
WHAT WE BELIEVE

THE HOLY BIBLE
We affirm that the Bible is the Word of God, divinely inspired. In its original manuscripts, it is without error and has been faithfully preserved by God. The Scriptures serve as the authoritative guide for this church and for individual believers in every generation.
2 Timothy 3:15-17 | 1 Thessalonians 2:13 | 2 Peter 1:21

GOD
We believe in one living and true God, who is eternal, self-existent, and sovereign over all things. He is the Creator and Sustainer of heaven and earth and is perfect in holiness, righteousness, wisdom, power, love, and faithfulness. God has revealed Himself through creation, Scripture, and supremely in Jesus Christ, and He alone is worthy of worship and obedience.
Deuteronomy 6:4 | Isaiah 43:10,11 | Matthew 28:19 | Luke 3:22

JESUS CHRIST
We believe in Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, who is fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, taking on human nature without ceasing to be divine. Jesus lived a sinless life, faithfully fulfilling the will of the Father, and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for sin through His death on the cross. He resurrected from the dead on the third day, ascended into heaven, and now reigns at the right hand of the Father. Through His redemption work, He restores our relationship to God and will return in glory to judge the living and the dead.
Matthew 1:23 | Luke 1:35 | Hebrews 7:26 | 1 Peter 2:22 | Acts 2:22 | Acts 10:38 | 1 Corinthians 15:3 | Matthew 28:6 | Luke 24:39 | 1 Corinthians 15:4 | Acts 1:9 | Acts 1:11 | Acts 2:33 | Philippians 2:9-11 | Hebrews 1:3

THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, who is fully God, co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and the Son. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, regenerates and indwells believers, and empowers them for godly living and service. The Spirit illuminates the Scriptures, guides the church, distributes spiritual gifts for the building up of the body of Christ, and produces Christlike fruit in the lives of believers.
An overflowing fullness of the Spirit: John 7:37-39, Acts 4:8 | A deepened reverence for God: Acts 2:43, Hebrews 12:28 | An intensified consecration to God and dedication to His work: Acts 2:42 | A more active love for Christ, for His Word and for the lost: Mark 16:20

SALVATION
We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Through His death and resurrection, believers are forgiven of sin, reconciled to God, and granted eternal life, not by works but by God’s grace.
Luke 24:47 | John 3:3 | Romans 10:13-15 | Ephesians 2:8 | Titus 2:11 | Titus 3:5-7

BAPTISM
We believe baptism is a sacred act commanded by Christ, serving as an outward sign of an inward faith. It represents the believer’s cleansing from sin, union with Christ in His death and resurrection, and entry into the fellowship of the church.
Mark 1.9-10 | Matthew 10.32
